Turner Cody est un auteur-compositeur-interprète américain, né le 22 décembre 1980 à Boston. Il s'est fait connaître au sein de la scène anti-folk new-yorkaise à la fin des années 90, aux côtés d'artistes comme Adam Green et Jeffrey Lewis. Son style musical est souvent décrit comme un mélange de folk mélancolique, de balades country et d'incursions jazzy, porté par une écriture poétique.

• Originaire de Boston, il s'installe à New York en 1999.
• Il a perfectionné son style au Sidewalk Café, foyer de la scène anti-folk.
• Il a collaboré et tourné de nombreuses fois avec le groupe Herman Düne.
• Il a enregistré l'album Friends in High Places avec le musicien belge Nicolas Michaux et son groupe The Soldiers of Love.
